I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong
I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve
I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brain to work
I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome
I asked for patience God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait
I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help
I asked for favors and God gave me opportunities
I received nothing I wanted I received everything I needed
My Prayer Has Been Answered.
H.O.P.E. – Help One Person Everyday
H.O.P.E. stands for Help One Person Every day. It reflects our mission and commitment to making a daily impact within the communities we serve. Through our H.O.P.E. initiative, we provide support through annual back-to-school drives, food distribution efforts, job readiness referrals, faith connection, and volunteer engagement opportunities.
Each year, we facilitate a back-to-school drive to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to youth whose parents may not be able to afford them. Since 2022, we have served over 500 individuals, including children, men, and women. Through the H.O.P.E. program, we have also provided food assistance to more than 500 individuals since 2022.
Through our H.O.P.E. outreach efforts, we responded to the California wildfires, including the Palisades Fires and Eaton Fires. Beginning in January 2025, we provided weekly support for six months, donating food, blankets, water, essential supplies, and other necessary goods to individuals and families affected by the fires.
In March 2021, through collaboration, we provided 50 families with cases of water during a time when thousands were without water, electricity, and food.
In addition to direct assistance, we focus on strengthening families by connecting individuals to community resources, encouraging self-sufficiency, and fostering long-term stability within the Antelope Valley.
Our mission is simple: to Help One Person Every day and bring hope to those facing hardship by supplying needed support in any way possible.
Thank you for your continued support of Helping the Hopeless (HTH).
